Stanly County Gymnastics (SCG) was founded in 1976. We have a highly professional coaching and teaching staff dedicated to developing the gymnast and cheerleader physically, mentally and emotionally.

In addition to our gymnastics and cheerleading programs, we offer Birthday parties on Saturday and Sunday. Gymnastics taught right in your child's daycare is another important part or our service to the community. And finally, our Friday night Fun Gym keeps kids tumbling while Mom and Dad take the night off.

Gymnastics is a creative way to help children of all ages develop their minds and bodies in a safe, yet enjoyable atmosphere. For the preschooler, gymnastics is an excellent way to enhance motor development, listening skills, problem solving and general body control. School age children will reap the benefits of greater strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. Gymnastics serves as a means to help each child develop greater self-confidence and a more positive self-image. Gymnastics classes are taught Monday-Friday at a variety of times for girls and boys ages 18 months- 18 years old with a carefully planned skill progression.
